相信大家对shit这个单词一点儿也不陌生，它是英美剧出现的频率最高的一个单词，我们很多人也喜欢把“shit”这个当做口头禅，只要出现了不如意的事情，都会冒出一句“shit”。

    但是这个词的意思不只是表示名词:便便，在口语中还有很多其他的意思！

    比如说：

    1. you are the shit 是什么意思？

    当你朋友对着你说：“You are the shit！”

    千万可别急着生气，他不是在骂你，

    其实是说你“太6了”。

    注意了，you are shit才是骂人的，

    要分清楚喔！

    you are the shit = you are awesome ! you are the one !

    就是一种slang，在比较熟悉亲近的关系时可以使用。

    比如 you are the shit ! 或 this is the shit !

    不是贬义，不必介怀。

    而：You are shit= You are terrible.

    eg：

    Oh my God!！You are the shit！

    天啊，你真是太6了！

    Your new sweater is a shit.

    你的新毛衣糟透了。

    一定要注意：

    当shit前加上定冠词the，

    它的意思会发生180°大转弯，

    表示”极好的，好中之好“，

    千万要记住！

    2. give a shit 是什么意思？

    可不是字面意思“给你便便”，

    用法和含义不能只看表面，

    give a shit是指“关心、在乎”。

    在口语中，常用的否定用法：

    not give a shit （一点也不在乎）

    = I don't care

    not give a shit含有“不屑一顾”的意思，

    比I don't care情感还要强烈。

    eg:

    And frankly, I don't give a shit.

    坦白的讲，我不想管这该死的事了。

    3. lose one's shit 是什么意思？

    歪果仁在超级不爽的时候会说shit，

    但在这里，lose my shit却表示“让我抓狂”，

    当你在生活中遇上了杠精，

    基本上就是这种心情。

    eg：

    Don't make me lose my shit.

    别让我发飙。

    4. shit hit the fan 是什么意思？

    这个俚语有点像歇后语，想象一下，

    粑粑被风扇吹到满地都是，

    那就“大事不好、麻烦大了”，

    在这里，shit比喻成了trouble（麻烦）。

    eg：

    If dad finds out how much money you spent the shit will really hit the fan.

    如果爸爸发现你用掉了多少钱，

    你就会大难临头。
