a hard nut to crack一个难解决的问题
Body 1
The financial pressure would be the chief culprit for the majority failing to achieve work-life balance. We are living in a consumer society where money is a massive preoccupation. Many individuals, accordingly, are swamped with a multitude of tasks, most of which are inextricably bound up with money, be they mortgage, private cars, or tuition fees for children. Therefore, it is no surprise to find most youngsters, breadwinners in the family, are struggling to pay all the bills. Another major contributing factor would have much to do with the corporate culture in contemporary society. In today’s world, working hours have been held up as the key to evaluate the contribution employees make in their positions, which means the longer officers are on duty, the more employable and competent they are. Consequently, a mushrooming number of employees, aiming to be a star performer rather than a whiner in their boss’s eyes, are apt to trap themselves in the office, leading to the inequality between their work and private life.
解析
工作生活难平衡的原因:
1)经济压力大;社会以消费为主导,人们忙于赚钱,支付各种账单;

Body 2
Prickly as the issue is, measures can be implemented to address it. Primarily, the government should play a leading role by enacting tougher laws and carrying out more severe punishment such as stiff fine toward the exploitation of labor, which are expected to prohibit long working hours,safeguarding the rights and interests of workers. Another feasible prescription is to initiate the policy of tax reduction to those with living odds and tight budget, with which they are less likely to toil away, sweating their guts out. Apart from punishment and fiscal policy from the government, dissemination of information concerning the significance of achieving work-life balance plays its own part. Individuals are supposed to boost their working efficiency and productivity and manage the time reasonably, spending more time with family members and keeping away from the electronics.
解析
解决方法:
1)政府严格立法保障劳动者合法权益;
