雅思听力选择题之长选项如何解题？在雅思听力考试中，要说考鸭的恶梦，就数part 3 的选择题，尤其是题量多且选项长的选择题，简直虐鸭至极，听力考8分或8.5分的学生，绝大多数也失分在这一块儿。

1、Part 3长选项选择题的主要难在：

1）读题费时，来不及读完；

2）没有方法的同学，会一边听录音一边把长选项再读一遍，导致注意力分散，录音内容听不全，最终就是选不对。

要应对这个难点，我们需要学会的方法之一：提取选项中的关键词

2、提取关键词时应该遵循以下原则：

1）关键词要越少越好；

2）关键词要决定整个选项的核心意思。

这样，我们才能够在听录音的过程中，能够尽可能把全部注意力放在听力内容上，然后只要瞄一眼关键词，就能快速进行排除或选定。

3、要提取什么样的词作为关键词？

我们先来分析一下哪些词会决定一个句子（或一个长短语的）关键意思。

例如：

Jack is…….在这个句子中，我们虽然知道Jack，但其实不知道句子在讲啥。

…… is active. 在这个句子中，我们虽然不知道主语，但我们仍然知道此句子的关键意思：某人或某事物是active的。

所以，形容词就是一个句子的关键词。

再如：

I…… Jack. 在这个句子中，我们其实不知道发生了什么。

…… respect…… . 在这个句子中，我们知道关键意思：某某尊重某某。

因此，动词就是一个句子的关键词。

而在我们雅思听力选择题中，面对较长的选项，我们就可以遵循上述关键词提取方法，以关注选项中的形容词和动词部分为主，来提升我们的做题效率。

Helen:

Right. OK, now I did a draft of the section of sources of possible error in our research, but I don’t know if you agree. For example, the size of the sample, and whether it’s big enough to make any generalconclusions from. But I thought actually we did have quite a big sample.

Colin:

We did. And our general method of observation seemed quite reliable.

Yeah, and the descriptions we gave of the smaller organisms, they weren’t very detailed, but they were adequate in this context.
