 1、a flash in the pan 昙花一现

The new author's first book got a lot of praise from critics, but he turned out to be a flash in the pan because his other books were terrible.

2、flamboyant /flæmˈbɔɪənt/ 耀眼的；派头十足的

ADJ If you say that someone or something is flamboyant, you mean that they are very noticeable, stylish, and exciting. 

The flamboyant celebrity loves the cameras. 

这个大明星爱在镜头前卖弄炫耀。

Her flamboyant image was attractive and inviting. She had a distinctive soft voice and a voluptuous /və'lʌptʃʊəs/ figure.

3、ace adj. ( informal ) very good 流的；极好的

I think his music is ace.

I don't wanna be famous, cuz people will butter you up and hope that you will give them a hand to some degree. 

我不想出名，因为人们会想对你阿谀奉承的，并寄希望你或多或少帮助他们。

5、blow over 平息；被遗忘

Celebrities' scandals normally blow over after a couple of months. 

名人的丑闻一般过几个月就会被遗忘。
