Many universities now offer academic courses over the Internet. However, some people still prefer learning in traditional classrooms. Which do you think is better? Explain why.
Personally speaking, I prefer to learn in traditional classrooms rather than study over the Internet because of the following reasons. First, students are more likely to be involved in heated discussion in which they can negotiate and exchange ideas with peers. Peer scaffolding is definitely an edge over online courses. Second, face-to-face discussion is easily accessible compared with online courses. Traditional classroom teaching allows teachers to acquire the basic information of students including their current levels, learning goals and learning gaps at current stage.
