There are conflicting views about whether women should play an equal role as men in milirary force. While some people think  

On the one hand, It is understandable that women tend not to be suitable for thepositions which require great strength and endurance, especially compared withmen who are born with a natural advantage to do physical demanding job.Undoubtedly, the majority of women are engaged in the careers like educationand nursery due to their mild temper and considerate characteristics.

However, although women seem fail to do these physical-demanding jobs,it does not mean that they are unable to join the army to make contributions totheir homeland. By contrast, their natural gifts of consideration and patienceprove that they are more qualified to be a contributive member of thearmy.  For example, while men alwaysserve the positions of guards or designing weapons, women can do better inpositions of military secretary, nurses and so on. Because these positionsalways require high dexicity skills , carefulness and patience. Another factshould be born into mind is that gender does not play a decisive role injudging a person’s capacities and personality. Numerous females could do thescience-based or technology-based jobs once they complete the academic studyand obtain the relevant certificates. Therefore, they deserve the opportunitiesto serve the army due to their outstanding academic performance and strongwillingness to make their homeland a better place to live in.

In conclusion, although women have the natural weaknesses, they can enjoy the equal opportunities as men to do a job well.

It is well known that males generally choose science subjects in schools and universities, while females are likely to choose arts subjects as their major. It is necessary to explore the reasons behind this phenomenon and analyze the pros and cons of this trend.

Traditional stereotype about men and women is the main cause of this phenomenon. It is widely believed that men are more suitable for scientific research because they are born with rational thinking and exploration skills. If they choose to enter the arts filed, they will be questioned by their friends and families. On the contrary, girls are considered to have the talent of arts, such as literature and language, so they should choose the art field to do what they are good at. What is more, women are less accepted in the field of science, while men’s performance in the field of art is also viewed with suspicion.

I think it is good to encourage students to try unfamiliar subjects. Men can integrate their exploration skills into the creation of arts, and women can also perform their creativity in the field of science. Meanwhile, male and female students can also be encouraged to try different subjects. Trying different subjects may motivate their potential, because everyone has different talents.
